Today (October 24, 2025), Mr. Jedmu announced the launch of the PC game “Black History Fighters” on Steam. The standard price is ¥500 (tax included), but it’s currently available at a 20% discount—down to ¥400 (tax included)—through a release celebration sale running until November 3.
This game is an action title designed for enjoyable boss battles. Estimated playtime ranges from 2 to 6 hours, with only one ending.
The story is set in a world where humanity’s brains accidentally interfered with dark matter before it was scientifically understood. The “Dark Matter Recognition Explosion” spreads globally centered around one boy, Sasha, enabling many people to perceive dark matter. They came to call this phenomenon “magic.” Society descended into chaos and science stagnated—suddenly, modern society transformed into a fantasy world of swords and sorcery…
Players can freely choose from 36 playable characters and take on 36 consecutive boss battles. Characters are acquired through “summoning,” which consumes tickets earned by winning battles. If you summon the same character multiple times, their level increases.
On the author’s X (formerly Twitter) account, posts introducing each character have been shared—each one featuring a delusional “middle school drama” style backstory that feels like it belongs in someone’s personal black history.
