Forever Entertainment has today (October 24, 2025) released the PlayStation 5/PS4/Xbox versions of “The House of the Dead 2: Remake.” The price is ¥2,599 (tax included).
This title is a complete remake of the arcade classic “The House of the Dead 2.” Players take on the roles of AMS agents James Taylor or Gary Stewart, undertaking missions in a city overrun by creatures.
Supporting both solo and cooperative play, this release allows players to once again experience the exhilarating “shoot-em-up” thrill that was originally enjoyed at game centers—now brought to modern platforms.

Story:
In February 2000, a small town was suddenly attacked by violent creatures. AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart are dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival, they discover the situation eerily reminiscent of the events at the Curian Mansion in 1998. To uncover the truth behind the infection, the two must fight through hordes of creatures while closing in on the source of terror.
