Cygames announced the debut of a new Umamusume character, “Red Desire” (CV: Hikaru Sekine), on October 19, 2025, for its cross-media franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby available on iOS / Android / PC.
Red Desire is based on a racehorse that won the 2009 GI Autumn Classic. In real life, she was famously known for competing closely with Buena Vista, finishing second in both the Sakura Sho and Oaks—then defeating Buena Vista to claim victory in the Autumn Classic.
In reality, Red Desire was also the daughter of Manhattan Cafe, a trait reflected in her eye color and other features. According to her profile, she is often seen chatting while drinking café lattes made by her admired senior, making their relationship one worth watching closely.
The live event “7th EVENT” is also confirmed for 2026. Additionally, the exhibition “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray EXHIBITION – Footprints of Monsters –” has been announced, along with a second collaboration campaign between Lawson and the anime Uma Musume Cinderella Gray.

Announcement of 7th EVENT and Live Gacha Release!

(Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President & CEO: Koji Watanabe), a company engaged in the planning, development, and operation of games, announced various latest updates including new Umamusume information during Day 2 of the autumn performance of Uma Musume Pretty Derby 6th EVENT The New Frontier, held at Saitama Super Arena (Saitama Prefecture) on October 19 (Sunday). Additionally, the “★3/SSR Guaranteed The New Frontier Live Gacha DAY2” will be available starting at 9:00 PM today.

To commemorate the autumn performance of Uma Musume Pretty Derby 6th EVENT The New Frontier on October 19 (Sunday), a limited-time “★3/SSR Guaranteed The New Frontier Live Gacha DAY2” will be available from 9:00 PM. When you pull ten times, your tenth pull is guaranteed to result in either a ★3 training Umamusume or an SSR support card.
