Wave Master announced on October 20, 2025, that the soundtrack “Fighting Vipers - 30th Anniv. Album -” will be released on November 27, priced at ¥3,630 (tax included). The digital download version price remains unannounced.
This release commemorates two milestones: the arcade version of the 3D versus fighting game “Fighting Vipers,” which debuted in arcades in 1995, turning 30 years old in November 2025; and the Sega Saturn port, celebrating its own 30th anniversary in 2026.
The soundtrack is a two-disc set. Disc 1 features tracks from the arcade version, while Disc 2 contains songs from the Sega Saturn version. The highlight of this release includes two arrangements by Koichi “Mickey” Namiki (former leader of S.S.T.BAND/B-univ). The opening track on Disc 1, “Fighting Vipers Prelude -Mickey Ver. 2025-”, is a medley-style overture that preserves the immersive atmosphere from the game’s early stages. Meanwhile, the bonus track on Disc 2, “Viper Venom If it is Long -Mickey Arr Ver.2025-”, was created based on the hypothetical scenario: “What if the opening theme were in a longer version?”
The official sound production team includes Fumio Ito as Sound Producer and Takeshi Miki as Sound Director from SEGA Sound Team.
Additionally, the booklet features behind-the-scenes stories about the creation of Fighting Vipers by Hiroshi Kataoka, who served as director for both arcade and Sega Saturn versions (currently Executive Officer & Head of Technology Division at Sega Co., Ltd.), memories shared by Namiki regarding composer David Leytze, and commentary on the arrangement tracks.

Album - on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
