On October 20, 2025, Gigabyte Technology’s Japanese subsidiary, Japan Gigabyte, announced the domestic release of five gamer-focused displays on October 24.

The lineup and suggested retail prices (including tax) are as follows:

  • GIGABYTE MO27Q28G: 27-inch OLED, ¥115,800
  • GIGABYTE M27UP: 27-inch LCD, ¥69,800
  • GIGABYTE M27UP ICE: 27-inch LCD, ¥72,000
  • GIGABYTE GS25F2A: 24.5-inch LCD, ¥24,800

AORUS FO27Q5P

The “AORUS FO27Q5P,” introduced under GIGABYTE’s gamer-focused product brand “AORUS,” is an OLED display with a 27-inch screen and a Quantum Dot OLED panel offering a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Its standout feature is the ability to achieve an exceptionally high vertical refresh rate of up to 500Hz.

It includes the ESS Technology USB DAC “ESS Sabre,” enabling audio playback through the display when connected via USB to a PC. The monitor supports AMD’s proprietary display synchronization technology, FreeSync Premium Pro, and has also achieved NVIDIA’s G-SYNC Compatible Monitor certification.

The “GIGABYTE MO27Q28G” is an OLED display with a 27-inch screen and a white OLED panel, offering a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. While not as wide in color gamut as Quantum Dot OLED panels, it features a broad color range.

The “GIGABYTE M27UP” and “GIGABYTE M27UP ICE” are 27-inch IPS LCD displays with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels (hereafter referred to as 4K). Both models share identical specifications and features, differing only in body color and suggested retail price.

A key feature is the inclusion of a “dual-mode” function. While the maximum vertical refresh rate at 4K resolution is 160Hz, enabling dual mode reduces the resolution to 1920×1080 pixels while increasing the refresh rate up to 320Hz. Both models support FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC Compatible Monitors.
