Today (October 20, 2025), Edia announced that the Nintendo Switch game “Telenet Fukubukuro” will be released in physical form on January 22, 2026, priced at ¥8,580 (tax included).

This title is the latest release from Edia’s project “Telenet Revival,” which aims to resurrect classic masterpieces originally developed by Japanese Telenet. The game is a remastered compilation featuring six PC Engine titles created by Telenet.

The included titles are as follows:

■ Lady Phantom (November 29, 1991 • PC Engine)
A futuristic tactical RPG where five girls pilot humanoid machines called “Phantom Media.” It introduced groundbreaking systems at the time—such as line-of-sight and aiming reticle processing—to deliver a more realistic combat experience.

■ TRAVEL・Ephul (September 4, 1992 • PC Engine)
A comedic action game featuring Ephul, a girl dressed in a penguin plushie, embarking on an adventure. Enjoyable both solo and in versus mode, it’s a bright and pop-inspired tale of exploration.

■ Dekoboko Legend (November 2, 1990 • PC Engine)

The latest installment in “Telenet Revival”: Hidden gems gather!

Since 2022, Edia has been running the “Telenet Revival” project to revive timeless classics originally developed by Japanese Telenet. Over the years, we’ve successfully ported numerous shooting games and titles from series such as Angel’s Poem and Ernest Evans to modern platforms.

Now, “Telenet Revival” launches its newest title: “Telenet Fukubukuro,” a compilation of six lesser-known but beloved classics—each selected for their unique charm and legacy.

Overview of “Telenet Fukubukuro”

This collection features Lady Phantom, a futuristic fantasy tactical RPG about five girls commanding humanoid machines; Pop’n Majick, a vibrant, two-player action game; TRAVEL・Ephul, a comedic adventure starring Ephul—a girl in a penguin plushie—on her quest to defeat the White Bear King; Dekoboko Legend, an absurd race game where anything goes across strange landscapes filled with monsters and obstacles; Naritore, a popular “ladder” board game centered on corporate rise-and-fall; and High Grenerder, a strategic RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world, featuring 53 distinct units and 12 unique allies.

Packed full of Telenet’s distinctive masterpieces, this release is truly a “luck-based treasure bag” for fans.

While faithfully recreating the original feel and tactile experience of the games’ debut era, it also includes modern enhancements such as Sound Mode, Visual Mode, and rewind functionality—making these classics even more enjoyable than ever before.
