Previously, Pokémon Kyogashi had been offered as limited-time and limited-quantity items, including various products such as wagashi (fresh sweets), fukuyaki (baked rice crackers), and youkan (sweet bean jelly). Going forward, these treats will be available for purchase year-round through both in-store outlets and the online store.

The product lineup consists of three types: “Pokémon Wagashi,” “Pokémon Fukuyaki,” and “Pokémon Hanagashi.” They will be sold at four locations: Kyoto Main Store, Kita-Senju Marui Store, JR Kyoto Isetan Store, and Fushimi Otemachi Store. Additionally, the room-temperature version of Pokémon Wagashi will be available only once a month—on the 7th—at the Kyoto Main Store.

Pokémon has been beloved by people of all ages and brings together hearts across countries, regions, and languages through everyday experiences like catching or raising Pokémon. Kyoto sweets continuously evolve by preserving tradition while incorporating seasonal changes, popular waka poetry, paintings, and other cultural elements from each era.

Since 2023 autumn, Shichijo Kansyudo has been creating Kyoto-style sweets inspired by traditional events in Kyoto, paired with Pokémon that come to mind during each season. These offerings have received widespread acclaim, but due to their limited quantity, many customers were unable to purchase them.

We have put our hearts into crafting each piece with care and joy, hoping you’ll take pleasure in experiencing the deliciousness and fun of Kyoto sweets through this special collaboration.
