The 31st "PlayStation Partner Awards 2025 Japan Asia" set to take place on December 3; user voting now open in two categories

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the “PlayStation Partner Awards 2025 Japan Asia” will take place on December 3, 2025.
This award honors titles on the PlayStation format in Japan and across Asia, marking its 31st consecutive year of being held.
For this year’s event, game titles from software developers will be recognized based on sales performance between October 2024 and September 2025. In addition to the previously established awards—“GRAND AWARD (Grand Award)” and “PARTNER AWARD (Partner Award)”—a new award has been introduced: the “ACCESSIBILITY AWARD (Accessibility Award)”, which will honor games with outstanding accessibility features.
Furthermore, among newly released titles launched during this period that ranked in the top 30 for total gameplay time by PlayStation users in Japan and Asia, the top five selected through user voting will receive the “USERS’ CHOICE AWARD (User’s Choice Award).”
Additionally, a new award—the “PLAYSTATION INDIES AWARD (PlayStation Indies Award)”—has been established to recognize creative contributions by game creators from Japan and Asia. The winning title for this category will also be determined through user voting. All awards are accepting votes from October 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM until November 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced that the “PlayStation Partner Awards 2025 Japan Asia” (hereinafter referred to as “PlayStation Partner Awards”) will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
The PlayStation Partner Awards were first launched in 1995—the year following the launch of the original PlayStation—with the aim of honoring creative efforts by developers and celebrating diverse hit titles that have helped grow the PlayStation ecosystem. This year marks its 31st edition.
For this year’s “PlayStation Partner Awards,” titles from software developers will be recognized based on sales performance between October 2024 and September 2025. Titles developed in Japan and Asia that achieved exceptional global sales will receive the “GRAND AWARD (Grand Award),” while those ranking highly will be awarded the “PARTNER AWARD (Partner Award).” Additionally, a new award category has been introduced: the “ACCESSIBILITY AWARD (Accessibility Award)”, which will honor games featuring outstanding accessibility features.
