[Inu Atsume VR] (Meta Quest 3/3S/Pro/2)

Scheduled for a winter 2025 release, Inu Atsume VR is an upcoming VR/MR game developed by Hit-Point, the creators of the popular Neko Atsume series.

The game takes place in a spacious plaza inhabited by 18 dogs. Players bond with them by offering treats and toys. As trust grows, players can adopt a dog that then participates in three types of dog competitions.

At this event, attendees experienced one of the game’s activities: “Disc Toss.” In this mini-game, players throw a flying disc (frisbee) for dogs to catch. If thrown too far or in the wrong direction, the dog may lose sight of it—so accuracy and proper distance are key. Initially struggling with aim, I was thrilled when one dog finally leapt high into the air and caught the disc perfectly, prompting me to exclaim aloud: “Wow! Nice catch!”

Players can actively engage with dogs by playing, petting them, teaching tricks, or taking photos. Additionally, the game features collection elements similar to Neko Atsume, such as a digital encyclopedia and album.

Moreover, Inu Atsume VR supports MR (Mixed Reality), allowing players to experience spending time with their virtual dogs in real-life rooms. Dogs can lounge on your living room sofa or play with balls—creating the immersive feeling of actually sharing your home with them.

[Marvel’s Deadpool VR] (Meta Quest 3/3S)

Marvel’s Deadpool VR, set to release on November 18, is a collaboration between Twisted Pixel and Oculus Studios in partnership with Marvel Games. It features an original story.

When the character Deadpool gets sucked into a portal, he’s flung into another world—the “Mojor World.” Blinded by the chance of unimaginable wealth, he hastily signs a contract without reading it carefully—marking the beginning of his battles against legendary villains across the Marvel Universe.

Attendees experienced the game’s opening scene. The first thing players see is Deadpool’s headless body lying on a table, along with researchers examining it. Soon after, the body begins waving its arms and crossing its legs—sending signals to the player.

It becomes clear that players can remotely control Deadpool’s body. Using this ability, players repeatedly slam the researcher’s face into the table until they’re silenced. Once successfully eliminated, Deadpool’s body moves toward the player and “attaches” itself—revealing that the player has become Deadpool’s head.

The game continues with surreal, violent yet comedic moments typical of Deadpool—such as cutting off a researcher’s wrist for fingerprint authentication. Although we couldn’t experience all aspects during the demo, this title faithfully recreates Deadpool’s signature acrobatic parkour and combat style. Players can even throw their own severed arm at enemies—an unconventional but thrilling gameplay feature sure to delight fans and anyone seeking bold VR action.
