2D sandbox game "Necesse" sells 1.5 million copies during early access, releases official version 1.0 with seamless world "OneWorld" implemented

Fair Games today (October 17, 2025) released the official version 1.0 of its PC sandbox crafting adventure game “Necesse: Nesece” on Steam. The standard price is ¥1,699 (tax included), with a 50% discount available until October 31st, bringing the sale price down to ¥849.

In the official release, a seamless open world called “OneWorld” has been implemented, allowing players to explore between islands without any loading screens. Additionally, numerous new features have been added, including endgame content and bosses, around 100 new buildings, and an upgraded settler management system.

Alongside the release, a launch trailer showcasing the game’s highlights is now available.

Settlers now express emotions (emotes) to interact with each other. You might even overhear conversations about love, life, or burgers! Once just tools for automation, settlers are now living residents of your town—your battle companions may even show emotion around campfires.

◆ New Endgame Boss and Expanded “Invasion” System
A new powerful endgame boss has been added, along with an expanded “Invasion” system. To counter them, adventurers gain access to a new talent tree. Can you defeat the final boss?

Other additions include approximately 100 community-requested buildings, a new settler management system, new items, updated sound effects, general balance adjustments, upgrades, and fixes—along with many other improvements.
