Sony Interactive Entertainment today (October 17, 2025) launched a limited-time “Autumn Sale” at PlayStation retailers nationwide, offering the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition at an affordable price.
The sale includes two items:
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition DualSense Wireless Controller Double Pack
At the Sony Store, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition—normally priced at ¥72,980 (tax included)—is available for ¥62,979 (tax included). The Double Pack, normally priced at ¥82,980 (tax included), is offered for ¥72,980 (tax included).
Note that the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition can play physical disc-based games and video content when equipped with an optional disc drive, sold separately. The disc drive is priced at ¥11,980 (tax included) at the Sony Store.
