Capcom today (October 17, 2025) announced that the “Daikapucon Exhibition – Game Creations That Captivate the World” will be held at the Tottori Prefectural Museum from October 19 to December 7.
This traveling exhibition focuses on Capcom’s game creation process. In addition to displays of concept documents, original artwork, posters, and other materials from iconic series such as “Street Fighter,” “Resident Evil,” and “Monster Hunter,” visitors can enjoy interactive experiences like the “Motion Capture Mirror” and “Capcom Pixel Lab.”

The event is scheduled next for December 20, 2025 – February 22, 2026 at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO in Tokyo.

Starting October 19 (Sunday), we are pleased to announce that the “Daikapucon Exhibition – Game Creations That Captivate the World” will be held at Tottori Prefectural Museum in Tottori Prefecture. Following its successful runs in Osaka and Nagoya, this exhibition—showcasing Capcom’s creative journey from its origins through cutting-edge technology—makes its debut in Tottori.
Imagination can become reality. Experience game culture this autumn at the “Daikapucon Exhibition”
This exhibition centers on Capcom’s game creation process. It presents the grand journey from concept to finished product, highlighting creators’ imagination and innovation through original artwork, hand-drawn design documents, promotional posters and packaging that convey each title’s world view, interactive experiences using game assets, and evolving technologies.

Highlights
[Character Parade]
A large-scale animated procession featuring beloved characters from across Capcom’s history. Visitors can enter the venue alongside these iconic figures.
[Posters & Main Art]
Original artworks behind past game packaging and actual promotional posters used in advertising campaigns are on display.
[Creativity in the Dot-Graphic Era]
Even when creating dot graphics, developers had to overcome various technical constraints. This exhibit highlights unique knowledge and ingenuity from early digital art creation—distinct from modern tools.
[Facial Tracking Mirror]
This exhibit showcases the latest character facial expression technology. By sitting in front of a mirror-like monitor and changing your expressions, characters’ faces will dynamically reflect your movements in real time.
[Motion Capture Mirror]
An interactive experience simulating motion capture technology, now essential in game development. Visitors can enjoy the sensation of being a motion actor—without needing special suits or equipment.
[Capcom Pixel Lab]
A hands-on experience where visitors can create dot art of Capcom’s classic characters using tablet devices—no drawing skills or prior knowledge required.
