Albert Gregl today (October 17, 2025) released the demo version of the PC game “[Rod of Asclepius]” on Steam.
This game is an RPG in which players act as a physician in the 4th-century Roman Empire. Players diagnose and treat illnesses, gather medicinal herbs, and build their reputation through ethical decisions. The game recreates customs and medical practices of ancient Rome based on archaeological research.
The demo features a self-contained story that introduces the game’s themes, atmosphere, and overall gameplay direction.
