Nexon announced today (October 17, 2025) an update on the collaboration event between its PC online RPG “MapleStory” and the anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
The event will run from after the maintenance on October 29 until November 26 at 23:59. Characters from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will appear in the Maple World. Players who defeat a set number of monsters each day to complete adventures will earn special collaboration items based on how many times they finish. Additionally, avatar items recreating the appearance of Frieren and her companions will be introduced.
Furthermore, a dedicated collaboration website has been launched, along with the release of a promotional video.

Collaboration Campaign with Chances to Win Exclusive Merchandise Also Launching
Nexon Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Lee Jung-hon / I Jeong Hon; TSE: 3659), a developer and operator of online games, has today released the dedicated collaboration website and a new promotional video for its upcoming collaboration between MapleStory—a PC-based MMORPG currently in service—and the anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, set to begin on October 29, 2025.

Explore the Maple World and defeat monsters. Completing daily quests by defeating a set number of monsters each day unlocks special collaboration items and other rewards based on how many times you complete the adventure. Along the way, players will encounter missions such as “Collecting Spellbooks” or “Defeating Bosses.” Complete these to earn exclusive collaboration items like custom backgrounds.

Adventure with Frieren and Her Companions
Defeat monsters within the appropriate level range to fill up a gauge. When filled, Frieren and her friends will support your hunting! Defeating elite monsters that resemble you in appearance—called “Replicas”—yields various reward items.

A variety of exclusive collaboration items will be available, including avatars, pet miniatures, androids, totems, and furniture inspired by the characters from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. These items can be obtained by playing through the collaboration event or purchased during a limited period via the Points Shop.
