Ubisoft has announced the details of Season 08, set to launch on November 5, 2025, alongside the roadmap for YEAR 3, during today’s (October 17, 2025) The Crew Showcase 2025 event for its racing game The Crew: Motorfest (available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and Xbox One).

According to the announcement, Season 08 will delve deeper into the roots of street racing culture. In the new playlist “Street Riders,” players can enjoy an immersive experience joining the mysterious crew known as “Monkeys Kitchen”—a group renowned for their artistic driving style.

Additionally, Ubisoft’s partnership with BMW has expanded. A dedicated playlist will allow players to thoroughly explore the brand’s legacy—from iconic classic models to cutting-edge designs. This includes a limited-edition new BMW M2 CS, offering an authentic experience of the brand’s DNA.

Ubisoft has unveiled the future vision for The Crew: Motorfest during today’s The Crew Showcase 2025 event. With Season 08 launching alongside the start of YEAR 3, the game will introduce community-focused updates including underground car culture exploration, tributes to classic BMWs, Steam Deck certification, and more.

Ubisoft Ivory Tower, the development team behind The Crew: Motorfest, revealed details about Season 08 during The Crew Showcase 2025. Alongside this launch, YEAR 3 will feature three new seasons, notable collaborations, and community-driven upgrades—all backed by a newly reimagined Year 3 Pass, promising to be the most ambitious chapter yet.

Before diving into the latest news on The Crew: Motorfest, Ubisoft also announced an exciting new initiative. A “Hybrid Mode” has been implemented, allowing players to enjoy both online and offline gameplay simultaneously—a key update designed to ensure the game remains enjoyable for years to come.

Season 08 begins by exploring deeper roots of street racing culture. In the new playlist “Street Riders,” players will transform city streets into performance stages. Joining the enigmatic crew “Monkeys Kitchen”—a group famed for their artistic driving—offers an immersive experience featuring free-roam races, fully customizable vehicles, added stance customization options, and over 40 new fully customizable brand-specific wheels.

Season 08 also expands Ubisoft’s partnership with BMW. A dedicated playlist lets players thoroughly explore the brand’s legacy—from iconic classic models to cutting-edge designs. The limited-edition BMW M2 CS is included, allowing players to experience various vehicles across both public roads and circuits while fully embracing the brand’s DNA. Limited-time events are also planned.

Another major announcement for PC players: The Crew: Motorfest will now be available on Steam Deck—enabling you to carry your gaming experience anywhere.

During YEAR 3, customization freedom reaches new heights. Players can select wheels made from different materials and colors, and even equip real-world brand models. Full vehicle stance customization—a long-standing community request—is also being added. The “Grand Race” mode will feature a new progression system and ranking structure, delivering fresh competitive experiences. These additions ensure this year will deliver player freedom never seen before.

To celebrate the launch of YEAR 3, all players who log in within three days from today will receive a free vehicle as a gift. Additionally, with the new “Friend Pass” feature, owners of The Crew: Motorfest can invite up to three friends to enjoy unlimited access to “Crew Mode,” without time restrictions.

The Year 3 Pass includes 21 new vehicles—four available on launch day—with 165 total vehicles released monthly. Players who already own the Year 1 or Year 2 Pass will receive a special limited vehicle: the Cadillac CIEL Concept (2011).

Season 09, scheduled to begin in March 2026, is set for an unprecedented scale of expansion, including a collaboration with NASCAR, the introduction of “Track Forge”—a new tool allowing players to create, share, and play custom courses—and the addition of remote-controlled cars. YEAR 3 promises to deliver constantly evolving content and fresh experiences fueled by community passion and the creativity of Ubisoft’s development studio.
