Square Enix today (October 14, 2025) released the latest information for “Octopath Traveler 0,” scheduled for release on December 4th. The game will be available on Switch2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Switch / PS4. The PC version is scheduled for release on December 5th.

“Octopath Traveler 0” is the latest installment in the series, set on the continent of Olsteria first introduced in the original “Octopath Traveler.” It tells a story of revenge and restoration centered around the divine ring. This time, details have been revealed about the companions who stand alongside the player (the protagonist) against the tyrant king’s ambitions to dominate Olsteria, as well as facilities constructed through town-building.

The revealed companions are: Pius, a priest (CV: Jun’ichi Yanagi), Ciascha, a dancer (CV: Yumi Hara), Kalinga, a merchant (CV: Rie Takahashi), and Serk, a scholar (CV: Atsushi Abe). Each character can use unique special abilities.
