Mr. Yamashita explained that the key highlights of “Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” are “story,” “open world,” “multiplayer,” and “battle.”
● Original Story Across Multiple Universes
This game is not a follow-up to the original series but instead features an entirely new story set within a multiverse framework based on Seven Deadly Sins and The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The narrative offers fresh developments for fans familiar with the source material, while also being accessible and engaging for newcomers.
● A Fully Recreated World of “Seven Deadly Sins”
The world of Britannia has been meticulously recreated as a vast open field, including iconic locations from the original series. Players can explore diverse landscapes—from forests and towns to mountainous regions—and experience their own unique journey of adventure.
● Adventure with Friends Across Britannia’s Vast World
One major feature is the ability to team up with friends for exploration. Whether battling giant bosses together or enjoying lighthearted mini-games, gameplay possibilities expand significantly. The sense of camaraderie and online cooperation stands out as a core appeal.
● Deep Combat Experience Through Character × Weapon Combinations
Combat allows players to switch among three weapons per character, each triggering unique skills based on weapon type—encouraging strategic play depending on the situation. With 4-player parties enabling dynamic character swapping, coordinated combo attacks and synergy are key highlights. The game offers more than simple action; it features deep tactical depth.
Additionally, promotional videos introducing characters Diane, Thiole, Tristan, and Meliodas were unveiled. Notably, Meliodas possesses a unique ability to walk on walls—making him truly one-of-a-kind in the game world. He can also wield weapons beyond swords, including axes, showcasing his distinct gameplay style.
Furthermore, it was announced that closed beta testing will begin on October 30, and the official release date is set for January 28, 2026—officially revealed during the stage event.
Thiole’s Voice Actor Is Aina Takeda! Fumie Murase Joins Her in Fun On-Screen Play
Next to appear was Fumie Murase, who voices the protagonist Tristan. She was joined by Aina Takeda, who officially revealed as the voice of the new character Thiole—also appearing live on stage.
During a talk session, behind-the-scenes stories from recording sessions were shared. Murase said she felt thrilled while reading the script and laughed about how overwhelming the volume of dialogue was: “I kept recording… but it never ended!”

Later, a special interview video from the original creator Yō Suzuki was shown. He shared his excitement: “It was even more fun than I imagined,” adding that he wanted to run around like “Tontoko Tontoko pig” and praised both the joy of exploring an open world and the satisfying impact of battle finishers—clearly showing how much he enjoyed playing.
In the second half, on-stage gameplay began. Murase demonstrated early story scenes controlling Tristan. Their natural banter with Thiole was revealed, captivating viewers with authentic character interactions.
Then, both actors explored the open world together. They soared through the skies of Liones riding a flying pet, delivering grand-scale visuals, yet also shared humorous moments—such as struggling to climb onto a giant’s back and laughing uncontrollably when failing. These spontaneous exchanges perfectly illustrated the game’s charm: adventure filled with laughter alongside friends.
Finally, a special customized PC created by Galeria appeared on stage. A signed version by Murase and Takeda will be raffled off via the official X account—adding an exciting surprise to close the event in style.
