ACAO SPA & RESORT today (October 15, 2025) launched a stage in the online game “Fortnite” that faithfully recreates its own “ACAO FOREST.” This stage is now available across all platforms: PC / Nintendo Switch 2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch / Android.
The stage features the battle royale game “ATAMI TREASURE SURVIVAL (Atami Treasure Survival)”, with map code: “7073-9781-5858”.
“ATAMI TREASURE SURVIVAL” is a team-based battle royale game set in ACAO FOREST, accommodating up to five players per team. Players join a secret mission to reclaim the “Atami Treasure,” stolen by enemies, engaging in intense battles at real-world locations such as “COEDA HOUSE,” designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, and the historic “Soga Asama Shrine.”
This project aims to promote Atami’s charm not only across Japan but also internationally.

To coincide with the announcement, a new trailer showcasing highlights of the ACAO FOREST stage has been released. A limited-time special campaign is also underway, allowing players to obtain the in-game item “Rocket Launcher.”

Experience “ATAMI TREASURE SURVIVAL” — leveraging a global gaming platform to share Atami’s charm with the world.
ACAO SPA & RESORT Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture; President: Isamu Yamazaki) operates ACAO FOREST, and today (Wednesday, October 15, 2025), it launches a stage within the globally popular online game “Fortnite,” which boasts over 500 million users worldwide. This newly released stage features the battle royale game “ATAMI TREASURE SURVIVAL (Atami Treasure Survival).”
“ATAMI TREASURE SURVIVAL” is a battle royale game available within Fortnite. Set in a faithfully recreated virtual version of ACAO FOREST, players join a secret mission to recover the stolen “Atami Treasure.” The game supports cooperative play for teams of up to five.
The meticulously reconstructed stage features real-world landmarks such as “COEDA HOUSE,” designed by architect Kengo Kuma, and “Soga Asama Shrine,” evoking deep historical atmosphere, along with 13 beautifully landscaped gardens bursting with flowers. Every detail — from gentle slopes of hills to winding paths between trees — has been carefully crafted to deliver an immersive experience as if walking through the actual location.
This project was conceived to promote Atami’s unique charm not only within Japan but also globally.
By utilizing “Fortnite,” a global gaming platform with over 500 million players, ACAO SPA & RESORT aims to let people around the world experience Atami’s natural beauty, rich history, and cultural heritage. In future updates, other areas of Atami — such as its hot spring district and coastal zones — will also be recreated in virtual space, continuing to share Atami’s hidden wonders with audiences beyond national borders.
As the first step in this initiative, we invite you to explore the charm of Atami through a virtual recreation of ACAO FOREST.

The setting, ACAO FOREST, is a resort park spanning 200,000 square meters of rolling hills, featuring 13 uniquely designed gardens and art installations. This real-world location in Atami suddenly comes under mysterious enemy occupation. As members of a special task force, players must retake key areas of ACAO FOREST from the invaders and uncover the hidden treasure known as “ATAMI TREASURE.”
Players form teams of up to five, gathering weapons and items while eliminating opponents to earn points and work toward liberating all zones. Each area features unique missions.
