Forever Entertainment has today (September 25, 2025) unveiled gameplay footage of the shooting game Panzer Dragoon Zwe: Remake at the ongoing Tokyo Game Show 2025.
This title is a remake of the second installment in Sega Saturn’s acclaimed全方位 (omnidirectional rail shooter) series, originally released in 1996. The game will be available on PC / PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X|S / PlayStation 4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch, priced at 2,570 yen (tax included), with the release date to be announced later.

Panzer Dragoon Zwe: Remake is a modern reimagining of the legendary second entry in the iconic rail shooter series. It invites players into an epic world where ancient ruins, imperial ambitions, and mysterious creatures shape the fate of a continent.
The protagonist is young rider Randy Jankjack, who sets out on a perilous journey filled with battle, discovery, and secrets hidden within forgotten civilizations—accompanied by his loyal dragon partner, Raghi.
Gameplay stays true to the series’ core: rail shooting. Players will unleash Randy’s gunfire and Raghi’s powerful lasers to deliver exhilarating action as waves of enemies relentlessly advance. When unleashed, the ultimate “Berserk Attack” can instantly turn even the most desperate situations around.
