Blizzard Entertainment today (October 15, 2025) launched Season 19 “Hallowed Masquerade” for Overwatch 2 (PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch / PS4 / Xbox One).
A limited-time arcade mode called “Hallowed Masquerade” has been introduced, along with various updates.
In this newly introduced arcade mode, players can wear their teammates’ masks to gain buffs themed around the hero featured on that mask. Certain pairs—such as Ramattra and Zenyatta, or Hanzo and Genji—are granted additional effects.
The rival mode in Stadium has been changed from best-of-four to best-of-three rounds. Power rewards are now obtained during Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 5—similar to Quick Play—allowing for faster-paced builds.
Additionally, new additions include Torbjörn, Hazard, and Sojourn; a new item called “Gadget” that grants cooldown-enabled utility abilities; and the ability to display damage and healing amounts directly on the UI.

Other balance adjustments across heroes in regular modes have also been made with a focus on park-centric gameplay.
