Redwood City, California – October 11, 2025 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) and Battlefield Studios have launched “Battlefield 6™,” the ultimate full-scale warfare experience. “Battlefield 6” raises combat to an unprecedented level with new multiplayer modes, a thrilling blockbuster-style single-player campaign, the return of Portal—a powerful creator tool—and numerous enhancements that result in an astonishing sandbox where every battle, vehicle, and strategy leads directly to victory. “Battlefield 6” is available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam™, EA App, Epic Games Store).

The year is 2027. The world stands on the brink of chaos. Once-stable NATO alliances are now shaken by suspicion and uncertainty. Financial instability, proxy wars, and political tensions have plunged some nations into geopolitical turmoil. Into this chaos emerges a powerful private military corporation—Pax Armata—with immense wealth and cutting-edge technology, unhesitatingly acting to seize power.

The range of modes and content has expanded dramatically, making multiplayer more diverse than ever before. For example, players can fight in the majestic mountainous terrain of Tajikistan in “Revelation Peak,” engage in intense stalemates beneath the Manhattan Bridge, or wage meticulously detailed and destructible battles across dangerous construction sites near Cairo in “New Sovek City.” Additionally, six new maps offer massive global-scale destruction.

In “Battlefield 6,” beloved multiplayer modes return. Classic full-scale warfare modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush are back, letting players utilize every weapon, vehicle, and even the environment itself within a chaotic sandbox of destruction. Adding to these is a new mode called “Escalation,” which brings fresh perspectives to genre-defining gameplay.

In addition to full-scale warfare, “Battlefield 6” includes modes inspired by classic shooting game staples—infused with the signature “Battlefield” flair. Experience revolutionary destructibility and unprecedented tactical depth in Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination, and King of the Hill.

“This is the moment everyone has been waiting for—the dawn of a new era in ultimate full-scale warfare,” said Byron Beede, General Manager of Battlefield. “In ‘Battlefield 6,’ we aimed to elevate the series to new heights by delivering world-class gunplay, tactical depth supercharged with the iconic destruction that defines the franchise, and unparalleled player freedom.”

The single-player campaign unfolds through a sequence of heart-pounding missions. Players join elite U.S. Marine Raiders unit “Dagger 13” as they take on Pax Armata across the globe—from Brooklyn to Cairo. This classic blockbuster-style single-player campaign features an epic scale defined by jaw-dropping moments and explosive action.

“Battlefield 6” also launches with a refreshed Portal. Players can reconfigure battlefields their own way, push the boundaries of what’s possible in the series, and create unique experiences. With these tools, players can customize their Battlefield experience to suit their preferences—and even craft unexpected, boundary-pushing gameplay.

“Today’s launch is just the beginning for ‘Battlefield 6,’” said Executive Vice President Vince Zampella. “We’re launching with more ways to play than any previous ‘Battlefield’ game. But this is only the tip of the iceberg. Within weeks, we’ll kick off Season 1 as part of our ongoing commitment to deliver continuous entertainment.” The first season content for “Battlefield 6” will be released on October 28, just after launch. Each season consists of multiple phases: Season 1 opens with “Rogue Operation,” featuring the new map “Blackwell Field” and a fresh 4v4 mode. Additional phases will arrive later this year—“California Resistance” (featuring the “Eastwood” map in Southern California) on November 18, and “Winter Offensive” (including an update to the “Empire State” season map) on December 9. All gameplay-impacting elements are provided free of charge or obtainable through play—ensuring fair access for all players.

“Battlefield 6” is available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store). Two editions are offered: the Standard Edition (\9,800) and the Phantom Edition (\13,900)*. The Phantom Edition includes the game download, exclusive “Phantom Squad” soldier skin pack, two high-performance weapon packages, vehicle skins, combat knife skins, and a Battlefield Pro Token that unlocks all Season 1 content—including Battle Pass access, 25-level skip, limited decorative items, and XP tokens.

EA Play* members receive a 10% discount on the digital version of “Battlefield™ 6,” giving them an early edge before stepping onto the front lines. Immediately start your full-scale warfare experience, grab the EA Play Deployment Pack to equip soldiers before battle, and keep gear appearances fresh with regular in-game rewards.
