Weekly Steam Plaza delivers highlights of newly released or announced titles on Valve’s PC game download platform, Steam, along with sales information.

Absolum

A belt-scroll “rogue” action game set in a fantasy world ruled by the Sun King Azura. Players take on the role of a hero exiled from their nation and challenge the tyrannical Sun King to reclaim lost magic. Known for its high-tempo combat, the game offers exhilarating gameplay that combines rapid combo attacks with powerful spells. Incorporating roguelike elements, each playthrough presents new challenges—an appealing feature in itself—and supports cooperative multiplayer.

Battlefield 6

The latest installment of the “Battlefield” series, known for large-scale multiplayer battles. Players join a squad as infantry soldiers and strive toward victory alongside teammates. A wide variety of battlefields await—from intense infantry combat to massive clashes involving tanks and fighter jets. One key attraction is dynamic gameplay that allows players to destroy surrounding environments to gain strategic advantages. The revamped “Battlefield Portal” also enables creating custom game modes.

Daimon Blades

A first-person slasher set in a chaotic realm. Players become a warrior-monk hunting their traitorous master, stepping into a dangerous world overrun by demons. The core feature is fighting with living weapons that grow stronger by feeding on enemy blood. Progressing deeper while applying permanent upgrades between runs offers a solid roguelite gameplay loop, supporting solo or up to four-player cooperative play.

Deathground

A co-op survival horror set in ruins haunted by ravenous dinosaurs. Players enter dangerous areas either alone or as teams of up to four, completing various missions to survive. The game’s highlight lies in tense escape sequences that require stealth, combat, and coordination with teammates to outwit relentless predators.

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch

A strategy roguelite RPG set on a cursed island. Players awaken as a memoryless warrior bound by a mysterious witch’s contract and assemble a team of colorful companions to uncover the island’s hidden truth. Deep turn-based battles, leveraging elemental effects and skill synergies, are among its key features. Additionally, players can permanently strengthen themselves at their base after each death—enabling stronger challenges in subsequent attempts—a hallmark of roguelite progression.

Little Nightmares III

A horror adventure set in an endless nightmare world called “No-Where.” Players take on the roles of the protagonists Loo and Alone, working together to escape from this nightmarish realm. The game uniquely emphasizes two-player cooperation: Loo uses a bow while Alone wields a wrench—each using their unique items to solve puzzles and confront fear. Online cooperative play is available, as well as solo mode with an AI companion, delivering intense tension as players protect one another.

Little Rocket Lab

A factory-building adventure set in a deserted hometown. Players become a rookie engineer striving to fulfill their mother’s dream of building a rocket by establishing innovative factories and revitalizing the town’s industry. Gathering resources across various locations, constructing vast production lines with conveyor belts, and solving residents’ problems form the core gameplay loop. The story unfolds around two major goals: reviving the town and realizing a family’s dream.

Project Unknown

An online cooperative horror game set in haunted properties. Players become paranormal investigators, leading teams of up to four to complete exorcism missions. A key feature is controlling unique characters—each with distinct special abilities—such as a tarot reader or an occult enthusiast who wields grimoires. Success depends on strategic teamwork: combining roles and skills to confront terrifying forces.
