Bandai Namco Entertainment today (October 10, 2025) announced the release of Little Nightmares III for PC, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The Little Nightmares series is an action game where players control a small character attempting to escape from nightmare-like worlds. The first installment, Little Nightmares, was released in 2017, followed by the second title, Little Nightmares II, in 2021, both of which have achieved significant popularity.
In Little Nightmares III, two new protagonists—Rou and Alone—join forces to search for a way out from “No Way.” In this delusional and perilous world, they must solve mysteries, avoid traps, and face dangers head-on in order to survive.

This installment marks the first time in the series that online two-player cooperative gameplay has been introduced—available only on the same platform. Additionally, a Friend Pass is now available to allow friends without the game to join and enjoy it.
To commemorate the release, a Follow & Retweet Campaign is currently running on the official Little Nightmares X account (link), offering an original T-shirt as a prize.
Furthermore, a launch event is being held from October 10 to 12 at WITH HARAJUKU B1 Space Street (Shibuya, Tokyo). The event features a photo spot where visitors can take pictures with the game’s protagonists Rou and Alone, as well as a message board for sharing memories of the Little Nightmares series. Exhibits and sales of official merchandise from the franchise will also be available.
