■ A New Managerial Experience with the Refreshed UI
In FM26, the interface has been completely reimagined from the traditional sidebar into a more intuitive and refined design, fundamentally transforming your managerial experience. With an upgraded navigation bar at the top of the screen, you can seamlessly access essential elements—such as player recruitment, tactical setup, and final checks before matches—all within easy reach.
The new “Portal” feature serves as the central hub for club management. News, messages, match results, calendars, and other vital information are all managed in one place, streamlining everything from team preparation to last-minute tactical adjustments on match day—providing smart support for managers overwhelmed by vast amounts of data.
Search functionality has also been completely redesigned: not only can you access club details, players, coaches, tactics, and specialized terminology instantly, but you can also quickly retrieve guides and support information from the “FMPedia” database with just one click. This intuitive design ensures that both beginners and experienced players can easily find exactly what they need.
The new UI for FM26 retains the series’ signature depth of strategy and knowledge while delivering a simpler, clearer, and more intuitive experience. Here lies an innovative managerial journey allowing you to freely bring your vision of football to life.

Realistic details—including transfer market mechanics, contract terms, and injury patterns—have been faithfully recreated to reflect the realities of women’s football.
Moreover, player movements are captured using real athletes’ motion capture technology, delivering precise and lifelike animations—from offensive and defensive transitions to running styles—allowing you to fully experience the authentic appeal. ■ Tactical System Upgrades
The tactical system in FM26 has undergone significant enhancements. A new feature now allows separate formations to be set for attacking and defensive phases, enabling more granular control over player positioning and roles. Roles are also now divided by specific game situations, with entirely new positions and redesigned existing ones added.
Additionally, the “Visualizer” function enables real-time visualization of team shape across defense, midfield, and attack areas—allowing you to intuitively understand how your tactics function on the pitch. Furthermore, transitions between attacking and defending are now clearly organized within their respective phases, making the entire system more intuitive and easier to navigate.
Beginners can enjoy a simplified experience with assistance from assistant suggestions, while advanced players can fine-tune formations and roles down to the smallest detail—achieving exactly the tactics they envision. This marks the most flexible and deeply layered tactical system in the history of the series.
