Circle “Maru Toki Base” has today (October 10, 2025) launched the demo version of their PC game “L.OD” on Steam.
This game, illustrated in pixel art, is a 2D exploration adventure where the player must evade mysterious figures while heading toward a location written in a letter. The full release of the game is scheduled for 2026.
A single letter arrives at the protagonist “Yoi,” penned by his deceased sister “Chitose,” who wrote, “I want to tell you a secret.” To uncover the truth, Yoi sets out toward a research facility hidden beneath an abandoned hospital…
At the abandoned hospital, Yoi is pursued by mysterious individuals. While guiding “two certain people,” he uses items to solve puzzles and progress forward.
The demo offers approximately one-quarter of the full game’s content; however, it may differ in substance from the final release. Save data cannot be carried over.
Additionally, due to inclusion of themes such as accidents, abuse, suicide, bloodshed, violence, murder, torture, drug use, and drug dependency, players under 18 are advised not to play.
