JAXA Sagamihara Campus Today Released MV Parodying Hololive's Hoshimachi Suisei's Song "Bibidoba," Taking a Slight Trip to Space

JAXA Sagamihara Campus will release a music video parodying the song “Bibideba” by Hololive’s Hoshimachi Suisei today (October 10, 2025) at 7:00 PM. The entire production—including concept development, filming, and editing—was created entirely by researchers.

JAXA Sagamihara Campus previously collaborated with Hoshimachi Suisei in October 2024. JAXA is also responsible for developing and operating the Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter “Mio” (external link), making it a naturally connected institution with Hoshimachi Suisei.
The original song “Bibideba” includes lyrics like “HEY taxi, just take me to space,” which makes the theme of the track highly compatible with JAXA’s mission.
JAXA Sagamihara Campus will hold its “JAXA Sagamihara Campus Special Open Day 2025” in person on October 11 and online on October 12.
On-site attendance is available via first-come, first-served registration, which has already reached capacity. The online special event on October 12 will be streamed live on YouTube, featuring presentations on research activities, future plans, and special programs.
