On September 25, 2025, Mouse Computer held a product announcement event at its booth during Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS2025), introducing new products from its gamer-focused brand, G TUNE. The event featured four players from the fighting game division of professional esports team DetonatioN FocusMe as guests. New PC models launching on that day or scheduled for release in October 2025 were highlighted. This article presents these products, along with reference displays of upcoming new PCs.

The main highlight of this event was the addition of a new white model to the G TUNE mini-tower desktop PC series, G TUNE DG, which received a redesign in July 2025 with a new PC case. The white model is scheduled for release mid-October.

G TUNE’s mini-tower PCs are designed with enhanced cooling capabilities to handle high-performance CPUs and GPUs, while also accommodating larger graphics cards compared to previous models. Key features include support brackets for heavy, large-sized graphics cards and compatibility with 240mm liquid-cooled CPU coolers.

Additional features include consolidated interfaces (including a USB Type-C port) and power buttons on the top panel, as well as a foldable headset hanger on the left side. Although compact in size, usability is nearly equivalent to that of full-tower models [Full-Tower Model]. Given the popularity of white PCs among users, this mini-tower white model is expected to be well-received.

Another new product is the G TUNE P5, a 15.6-inch gamer notebook released on September 25, featuring a red color variant.

The G TUNE P5 series is known for its excellent price-to-performance ratio, featuring NVIDIA’s laptop GPUs—either the “GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU” or “GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU.” In particular, the model with the RTX 5060 GPU is priced at just 209,800 yen, making it highly accessible.

The new red model features meticulous attention to color and texture. The surface coating was inspired by car paint finishes, achieving a glossy look while minimizing fingerprint visibility.

Itabashi Zangief, a player from DetonatioN FocusMe, holds the G TUNE P5 in one hand. He highly praised its lightweight design—around 2.19 kg for a 15.6-inch model Image Gallery No.013 thumbnail / G TUNE’s new products featuring meticulously crafted color variants, including a bright white mini-tower PC and vivid red notebook PC

Although priced affordably, the G TUNE P5 offers many standout specifications. Notably, it supports a maximum SSD capacity of 8TB, and with two SSD slots available, users can achieve up to 16TB of storage (8TB × 2). Additionally, this model includes a wired LAN port on the back—something highly valued by gamers—and features a 16:9 aspect ratio display instead of the popular 16:10, as most games are optimized for 16:9.

This may be an ideal choice for first-time buyers seeking their first gaming notebook.

Additionally, several reference-exhibited products were showcased. First is a mid-tower PC currently under development for release under Mouse Computer’s entry-level brand, NEXTGEAR. This model uses a pillar-less (no front-left column) case design. A button on the top panel allows users to switch the transparency of the glass panel extending from the front to the left side—making it transparent or opaque at will.

The glass panel is not an LCD but a light guide plate. When opaque, it uses lighting to obscure visibility—making for quite an innovative product.
