SEGA today (October 10, 2025) released new gameplay footage for “Yakuza: Like a Dragon Ishin! 3 / Yakuza 3: Dark Ties,” scheduled to launch on February 12, 2026, for PC / Nintendo Switch 2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4, featuring “Kazuma Kiryu Battle Footage” and “Genta Mine Battle Footage.”

This title combines a full remake of “Yakuza 3” with a completely new original story, “Yakuza 3: Dark Ties,” centered around Genta Mine. The newly released footage showcases Kiryu’s combat scenes switching between two distinct styles, as well as Mine’s battle sequences based on shoot boxing.

Genta Mine not only employs stylish fighting techniques but also has the ability to unleash his inner darkness through “Dark Awakening.” In the video, his wild and powerful battles using this power are clearly visible.

The protagonist of “Yakuza: Like a Dragon Ishin! 3,” Kazuma Kiryu, can switch between two combat styles—his bold and overwhelming fighting style, “Dragon of Daidoji: Ishin!”, and a new style inspired by traditional Ryukyuan weapons, called “Ryukyuan Style.”

“Yakuza: Like a Dragon Ishin! 3 / Yakuza 3: Dark Ties” is a combined title based on the concept of “a changing legend, a new history,” featuring both a full remake of “Yakuza 3”, originally released in 2009, and an entirely original story titled “Yakuza 3: Dark Ties.”
