Today (October 8, 2025), Pokémon announced details of the new Pokémon manhole covers—called “Pokéfuta”—to be installed in six cities and towns across Kochi Prefecture.
The newly unveiled Pokéfuta feature Numel, a beloved Pokémon from Kochi, as the central design. The six covers will be installed in Tōyō Town, Kōnan City, Suō City, Sukumo City, Anji City, and Muroto City.
To date, seven Pokéfuta have already been placed throughout Kochi Prefecture, bringing the total to 13 after including these six new ones.
Today, October 8 (Wednesday), the “Pokéfuta” covers are being unveiled in six municipalities across Kochi Prefecture!
Featuring various Pokémon centered around Numel, a favorite of Kochi locals.

Additionally, it was announced that a Numel-themed stamp rally will begin on November 1 across 15 locations in Kochi Prefecture. A special “Ryoma Passport” cover with original Numel design will also be distributed starting then. Details will be revealed at a later date.
