On October 8, 2025, Hamster announced that Battlantis will be released on October 9 for the following platforms:

Arcade Archives 2 Battlantis (Switch 2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S)
Arcade Archives Battlantis (Nintendo Switch / PS4)

The pricing is as follows:

Arcade Archives 2 version: ¥1,100 (tax included)
Arcade Archives Switch version: ¥838 (tax included)
Arcade Archives PS4 version: ¥837 (tax included)

Battlantis is a shooting game originally released by KONAMI in 1987. Only young King Klepous III can save the sacred island of Battlantis. To protect the castle from invading enemy monster hordes, players must eliminate them before they scale the fortress walls.

On October 9, 2025, Hamster Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Toshiro Hamada) announces the release of Battlantis, a new title in its popular Arcade Archives and Arcade Archives 2 series.

Simultaneous Release on Five Platforms!

We are pleased to announce that Battlantis will be simultaneously released on five platforms:

Arcade Archives Battlantis for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4
Arcade Archives 2 Battlantis for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S
All versions will launch on October 9, 2025.
