Today (October 8, 2025), Nintendo announced the addition of Chapter 2, titled “The Gentle Wolf,” to the story of its smartphone app Fire Emblem: Shadows (iOS / Android).

Accompanying this update, a new Apostle named “The Gentle Wolf Joachim” has joined the game. He is a young boy living in a remote mountain village in the north. Though peaceful and averse to conflict, he is descended from the wolf lineage of the dark god Fenrir. As players progress through the story, Joachim will become an ally.
