Bandai Namco Entertainment’s recently released fighting game Tekken 8 (available on PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S) has unveiled a preview gameplay video for its new fighter, Armor King, on the official 4Gamer YouTube channel.

Known as the “Flower of Evil,” the heel wrestler Armor King is a character specializing in brutal attacks such as poison mist, fire-based moves, and stomps. Compared to fellow wrestler King, he features an extensive arsenal of striking techniques and excels in agile, acrobatic movement. In this installment, Armor King can transition into a new special stance called “Bad Jaguar,” enabling him to use high-, middle-, and low-level strikes and throws that differ from those available in his traditional “Shadow Step” stance. Mastering the Bad Jaguar allows for exhilarating aerial combos.
The poison mist serves as a “reversal tool” and is emphasized for its impactful, illegal move quality. While it has relatively slow startup in normal conditions, the speed increases during Heat mode, making it an effective option for breaking through opponents’ defenses. Notably, when hit by poison mist, Armor King becomes immune to throws for a set duration.
During Heat mode, Armor King also unleashes fire-based attacks that enhance various strikes. High attacks now serve as combo starters, and new follow-ups have been added to the Bad Jaguar → Power Crush sequence, allowing for even more diverse offensive options.
