On October 6, 2025, SteelSeries, the gaming-focused product brand under GN Group, announced that its new wireless and wired headset, the Arctis Nova Elite—the top-tier model in the Arctis Nova series—will be released domestically on October 17.
The suggested retail price, including tax, is ¥111,080.

The company positions the Arctis Nova Elite as a “luxury” product with even higher specifications and features than SteelSeries’ high-end wireless headset, the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless.
While its shape is nearly identical to that of the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, the Sage & Gold variant enhances luxury appeal by using matte gold parts throughout Thumbnail image for Image Gallery No. 003 / SteelSeries’ top-of-the-line wireless headset with Hi-Res Audio support and simultaneous playback of four inputs, Arctis Nova Elite, set to launch on October 17
The most significant feature is that it has obtained the “Hi-Res Audio Wireless” license as defined by the Japan Audio Association. According to SteelSeries, this makes it the first gaming wireless headset ever to achieve this certification. Using its proprietary wireless connection technology, it can transmit audio signals at 96kHz/24bit wirelessly.
While the benefits of Hi-Res Audio in games are somewhat limited, music streaming services such as Apple’s “Apple Music” and Amazon’s “Amazon Music” do offer high-resolution audio tracks. This could be a compelling feature for users who prioritize sound quality during music listening.

The headset incorporates a proprietary 40mm carbon fiber speaker driver. The headphone’s playback frequency range reaches up to 10Hz–40kHz, with particular enhancement in high-frequency reproduction.
Another major advancement lies in the included wireless base station, the “Wireless GameHub.”
This device features three USB Type-C ports for connecting PCs or gaming consoles, as well as 3.5mm mini-jack line input and output. In addition, the headset itself has built-in Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity, enabling four independent audio inputs.

Moreover, the headset can simultaneously play audio from all four input sources—a standout feature. For users wanting to consolidate sound from their PC and gaming consoles into a single headset, this is highly appealing.
Like the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, the Arctis Nova Elite features a replaceable battery. The product box includes two batteries: while one is in use inside the headset, the second can be charged via the charging socket on the Wireless GameHub, allowing for immediate replacement when power runs out.

Additionally, the headset includes active noise cancellation, enabling reduced ambient noise and enhanced sound reproduction.
Although it is among the most expensive gaming headsets available—priced at a premium level—it is an upgraded model that improves upon the acclaimed audio quality and features of previous high-end models reviewed positively by 4Gamer. As such, it’s expected to draw significant attention.
