Fellow Traveller today (October 9, 2025) announced that the Japanese language update for Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, currently available on Steam (PC / Mac), will be released on October 30, 2025—bringing the update forward from its previously scheduled release in the second half of 2025.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that the game will also become available on Japanese home consoles (PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch).
The game is a sci-fi space RPG set in the “Starward Belt,” a region littered with remnants of interplanetary capitalism. Players take on the role of a “Sleeper”—an android whose consciousness has been transferred—navigating life by taking on jobs and interacting with people discarded by capitalism, striving to survive in this harsh world.
Players are also granted multiple dice for every decision, choice, or action, each featuring random outcomes. Higher die rolls increase success rates, while low rolls make success difficult. This creates a unique resource management system where timing your high-value rolls and knowing when to risk lower ones becomes crucial—making decisive judgment essential.

■ A consciousness trapped within an android, surviving in a capitalist universe
Set in the cyberpunk “Starward Belt,” a space region filled with remnants of interplanetary capitalism, this sci-fi RPG places you as a Sleeper—an AI body created by a major corporation. You’ll survive by taking on jobs and interacting with people discarded by capitalism.
■ A unique dice-based system—your fate rests in your resource management
In this game, you begin each day with multiple dice for every decision, choice, or action. Higher die rolls increase success chances; lower rolls make outcomes harder to achieve. This creates a distinctive resource management experience unlike other RPGs: choosing when to use high-value rolls and whether low-value ones can still be salvaged becomes critical. Surviving from one day to the next demands sharp judgment.
