Today (October 9, 2025), Nintendo announced that three new titles—“Mario & Wario,” “Garou: Mark of the Wolves Special,” and “Yamaneko Babuji no Daimōken”—have been added to “Super Famicom Nintendo Switch Online.”
“Mario & Wario,” released in 1993, is an action puzzle game. Players guide Mario—wearing a bucket on his head and unable to see anything—through shifting platforms and changing directions toward Luigi’s location. With simple controls relying solely on movement and actions, the game offers 100 uniquely designed stages filled with inventive mechanics.

“Garou: Mark of the Wolves Special,” released in 1994, is a competitive fighting action game. It brings together 15 fighters from the “Garou: Mark of the Wolves” series, with Ryo Sakazaki from “Art of Fighting” becoming available upon meeting specific conditions. The Super Famicom version also includes an original mode called “LICENSE PLAY,” where players battle through successive opponents to earn points.

“Yamaneko Babuji no Daimōken,” released in 1994, is an action game featuring 16 stages, each spanning approximately 300 screens in size. The levels are filled with quirky enemies and thrilling traps, as players gather scattered balls of yarn while progressing toward the goal.
