According to Team RICOCHET, the development team responsible for the cheat-detection system “RICOCHET Anti-Cheat,” specifically designed for the Call of Duty series, Black Ops 7’s OBT achieved zero-cheater matches in 97.5% of games on Day 1.
The team continued monitoring match activity throughout the beta period and implemented updates, eventually reaching a rate of 98.8% of matches free from cheaters by Day 5. In simple terms, players would encounter cheaters only once or twice out of every 100 matches played.
Team RICOCHET emphasizes creating an environment where players feel that games are fair—so they don’t have to question a loss or constantly analyze replays to determine whether their gameplay was truly legitimate.
