"Sonic Racing Crossworld," paid DLC #1 "Minecraft," released today

Sega today (October 9, 2025) launched the first paid downloadable content (DLC) for its racing game Sonic Racing Cross World: “Minecraft.” This DLC is available to players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition—which includes the base game and season pass—or the season pass alone.

Sega Corporation is pleased to announce that the first paid DLC for its currently available game Sonic Racing Cross World—titled “Minecraft”—is now live, starting today, October 9, 2025. This DLC features not only racers Steve, Alex, and Creeper, but also courses, machines, and music inspired by the Minecraft universe.

To celebrate the release of this DLC, an in-game event titled “Minecraft Festival” will run from Friday, October 10 onwards. Experience the world of Minecraft within Sonic Racing Cross World!

The paid DLC “Minecraft Pack” is available to players who purchase either the Digital Deluxe Edition (which includes the base game and season pass) or the season pass.
