“Idolish7 First Beat! Theater Compilation: Part 1” is currently screening in cinemas nationwide starting October 3, 2025.
Based on the 2015 mobile app “Idolish7” (iOS / Android), this film was created to commemorate the series’ 10th anniversary and serves as a “story of beginnings.” It reorganizes the first season of the TV anime, presenting fresh perspectives on the idols’ emotions and evolving relationships.

The story begins with seven individuals gathered at the “Kotori Agency,” taking their first step into the entertainment world as “IDOLiSH7.”
Starting their shared life in a dorm and launching their idol activities, they embark on an uncertain journey filled with potential. However, differences in dreams and goals gradually create rifts among them.
In their early days, the group is shown carefully crafting their foundation—handing out flyers around town, performing at their first live show before just nine audience members. Their determination during street performances comes across as endearing, evoking a nostalgic smile: “We really did go through things like this.”

Still, their resolve never wavers—they decide to challenge themselves on a music program. Though they face setbacks and frustration, their ability to support one another and rise again clearly shows signs of real growth.
