Today (October 9, 2025), Sega has announced that Farming Simulator: Signature Edition, a Nintendo Switch 2 title based on Farming Simulator 25, will be released.
Farming Simulator 25 is a large-scale agricultural simulation game currently available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac. It has surpassed cumulative global sales of three million copies, making it a highly popular title worldwide. The game features over 400 machines and items from leading agricultural machinery manufacturers such as Japanese companies Iseki and Kubota, allowing players to enjoy farming in realistic and visually stunning landscapes using various heavy equipment.

Farming Simulator: Signature Edition includes the content expansion pack “Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack,” released in September. The digital version will be available on December 19, 2025, while the physical edition is scheduled for release on January 22, 2026, priced at 6,578 yen (tax included).

Sega Corporation has announced that the agricultural simulation game Farming Simulator: Signature Edition will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2. The digital version is scheduled for release on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, while the physical edition will launch on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
This title is based on the globally successful Farming Simulator 25, available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam/Epic Games Store/Windows), and Mac, which has surpassed three million copies in cumulative sales worldwide. It features the latest content expansion pack, “Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack,” tailored specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The game’s settings expand beyond the vast, open North American landscape and central Europe, bordered by lakes and rivers, to include a lush East Asian region with rice paddies. With two types of rice and spinach added, players can now cultivate 25 different crops in total. Livestock has also expanded: cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, and horses are joined by buffaloes and goats introduced in this version. By utilizing newly implemented production chains and construction missions, players can further grow their business opportunities.
