Combat unfolds on an 8×8 grid-based map (board) where tactical use of terrain—such as luring enemies into traps or surrounding them—is key to gaining the upper hand. With extremely limited healing options, minimizing damage taken during battles is essential for successful progression.

Card Strategy Roguelike Game
‘Lost in Fantaland’ Released on October 9th for
PlayStation(R)4, PlayStation(R)5, and Nintendo Switch(TM)!

Game Source Entertainment (GSE) has announced that the board-style card adventure game Lost in Fantaland, developed by Supernature Studio, will be released on October 9, 2025, for Nintendo Switch(TM), PlayStation(R)4, and PlayStation(R)5! Combining elements of cards and strategy games, this title offers players a fresh experience. Explore an 8×8 world, defeat obstacles, and survive!

Game Overview

Lost in Fantaland is a role-playing action RPG combined with a simulation RPG card game where players aim to conclude each battle with minimal damage by strategically using cards drawn from the board.

The story centers around one of today’s most popular themes—reincarnation into another world. The protagonist, after becoming lost on the road, gets dragged into an alternate realm by a mysterious man. Guided by this enigmatic figure, they must fight to survive in a dangerous unknown world using only their limited resources (cards).

Game Features

  • Fully Randomized Gameplay System
While each chapter’s map background remains fixed, all other elements—events, enemy types and numbers, battlefield terrain, and traps—are completely randomized. This creates near-infinite variations, allowing players to embark on survival journeys repeatedly without getting bored.

Always Changing Terrain and Cards

To survive, first understand the terrain and your own cards. On an 8×8 board, every single action you take may influence the overall outcome of the game.

Use board layout to lure enemies into traps, control positioning, avoid flanking attacks using hit-and-run tactics, and minimize stamina loss in each battle—thereby increasing your chances of survival.

Use Items, Treasures, and Cards to Survive

Players can choose from various professions, each with unique treasures and cards. Skillfully utilize these tools to explore paths for survival. Clearing the game is no easy task, failures are inevitable—but by upgrading soul orbs obtained at the adventure’s conclusion, future journeys become more favorable. Achieving a final clearance remains within reach!

Understand Enemy Traits and Behavior

In Lost in Fantaland, enemy traits and behavior patterns require careful consideration from players. While one enemy may be manageable alone, multiple enemies can quickly overwhelm you—so understanding their movement characteristics and predicting their actions dramatically increases your chances of survival.

Fleeing is not shameful. With very limited recovery options, minimizing combat damage is the core principle of Lost in Fantaland. There’s no need to defeat every monster in each chapter. If unsure about remaining HP, avoid unnecessary battles and focus on confronting bosses instead—survival itself defines success in this adventure. Certain items allow players to directly escape from fights other than boss encounters.

Lost in Fantaland is full of surprises and randomness. Combine your cards to create high-damage or high-defense combos, defeat monsters in the alternate world, and find your way back home! With repeated attempts, you might just uncover the secrets of this mysterious realm.
