Visual Arts has today (October 9, 2025) launched the Steam store page for its PC software titled Alice in Falsehood -Retold Tale-.
This title is a novel game adaptation of the mobile app “Alice in Falsehood” (iOS/Android), with a planned release date set for autumn 2026. The crowdfunding campaign officially began on October 3 and reached its funding goal within just four minutes, surpassing 300% of the target during the live broadcast of the official program “12th Fake Live Stream.” Currently, the project is aiming to achieve a stretch goal of ¥30 million.
The story takes place in a dustbin where failed fairy tales are collected. The discarded stories refer to themselves as “Alters,” striving to become authentic originals. When the protagonist awakens in this world, they encounter three fake “Alices”—a destroyer, a hunter, and a sorcerer—each possessing unique personalities. Driven by their desire to be the one true Alice, these Alices fight each other to the death. But when an outsider—the protagonist—wanders into this hostile realm, they begin rewriting the story itself, creating a tale where no one dies in a world built on killing.
