South America’s largest gaming event, “Brasil Game Show 2025” (hereafter BGS), will take place from October 9 to 12 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo.

Since its inaugural event in 2009, BGS has steadily grown in scale. Last year’s exhibition attracted over 306,000 visitors—surpassing the attendance of Tokyo Game Show—and recorded 427 game titles and 961 playable demos.

The Brazilian gaming market has seen rapid expansion in recent years. With a player base exceeding 100 million people, it has become a massive market, driven by widespread adoption of mobile games and esports.

At the same time, domestic Brazilian game developers continue to grow, with increased international activity—evidenced by Brazil’s “Brazil Games” export program setting up a booth at Tokyo Game Show 2025.
