Acacia announced today (October 7, 2025) that sales of its PC-based mystery adventure game “[The Witch Trial of the Magical Girl]” have reached 200,000 copies.
To commemorate this milestone, an encore sale will be held from today through October 14. During the sale period, the game will be available at a 20% discount for ¥2,800 (tax included).
The game, released on July 18, is a “magical debate × mystery adventure.” The story begins with Sakuraha Emma, who was supposed to be entering high school as a first-year student, awakening in a dimly lit mansion. This isolated prison-like building stands on a remote island, where she and twelve other girls are detained as “witch candidates.”
As the girls live together, they gradually get to know one another, forming bonds of trust or suspicion—until a murder occurs. Eventually, an unforgiving game begins: the condemned will be decided by vote.
The title has also become a topic of discussion, receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. Those interested are encouraged to try it during this special opportunity.
