Electronic Arts has today (October 7, 2025) published an article detailing updates and improvements to its upcoming FPS “Battlefield 6” (PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S), which is scheduled for release on October 11, based on Japan time, incorporating feedback from the community.
According to the article, in the final version, player movement issues will be resolved and responsiveness improved to ensure smoother, more balanced gameplay. Several weapons and gadgets will also receive adjustments, including recoil balance for support firearms and changes to the number of deployment beacons.
Regarding maps and game modes, balance between attackers and defenders will improve due to layout changes in “Rush” and “Breakthrough,” while issues with spawn kills and out-of-range eliminations in “Siege of Cairo” will be addressed. Additionally, numerous changes are planned for “Operation Firestorm.”
The article also references data from the open beta test, noting that there were no significant differences in recruitment rates across military classes or weapon usage—meaning no single class stood out notably above others. Furthermore, in playlists featuring unrestricted and specialized weapons, unrestricted weapons remained popular among most players, reinforcing the belief that unrestricted weapons are the correct choice.
Other changes include updates to UI and HUD elements, options settings, networking performance, and more. For further details, please check the official website’s news section.
