Waka Studio today (October 7, 2025) announced that its PC game Cut That Wire will be released on Steam on October 22.
This game is a first-person multiplayer deduction game. Players are locked in a room with three teammates, aiming to disarm bombs attached to their bodies. However, one of the four players is secretly an impostor (traitor), leading to intense psychological battles where lives hang in the balance.
Each round features exciting “Big Bluff” mini-games such as “Big Bluff Drawing,” where players draw based on prompts; “Big Bluff Picture,” testing memory recall; and “Big Bluff Deck,” involving card swapping. After each game, players vote to select the one who will cut the code. Only the special role of Engineer knows which wire is safe—while the impostor skillfully manipulates the group into making fatal choices.

On October 7, 2025, Waka Studio, an indie game studio based in Bangkok, Thailand, announced the official Steam release of its new multiplayer deduction game, Cut That Wire, scheduled for October 22, 2025. This first-person multiplayer title tasks players with working together to disarm bombs strapped to their own bodies. However, among them lurks a disguised “impostor (traitor),” sparking high-stakes psychological battles.
Pisorn Chungviwatanat and Jirawat Chungviwatanat of Waka Studio said:
“Cut That Wire is more than just a game—it’s a stage for laughter, suspicion, and unforgettable moments shared with friends. We aim to transform play into genuine social experiences through games that connect people.”
Game Overview
In Cut That Wire, players are locked in a room with three teammates, each wearing a bomb. But one of the four is secretly an impostor (traitor) intent on sabotaging the group. Players must identify the traitor among them—while the impostor tries to deceive and eliminate their allies using lies and bluffing.
Each round features tense “Big Bluff” mini-games: “Big Bluff Drawing,” where players draw from a given prompt; “Big Bluff Picture,” testing memory recall; and “Big Bluff Deck,” involving swapping cards. The impostor attempts to gain trust by fabricating inconsistencies.
Then comes the real test after each mini-game. Players vote on who will cut the code, and the chosen player flips a coin to decide whether they’ll cut their own wire or someone else’s. Only the special role of Engineer knows which wire is safe—while the impostor skillfully misleads the group toward deadly choices.
As the bomb timer ticks down, even the smallest comment or fleeting glance can become the deciding factor between life and death.
