Bushiroad has announced the start of online qualifier sign-ups for the domestic tournament of the competitive fighting action game “HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT” (PC / PS5 / Nintendo Switch), scheduled for October 5, 2025.
This game is a “Psychic Ability Team Battle” based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s TV anime HUNTER×HUNTER. Led by protagonist Gon, familiar characters from the manga and anime will battle in 3-on-3 team matches.

The qualifiers will be divided into two categories: PC (Steam) and PS5. The PC division begins on November 1 at 13:00, while the PS5 division starts on November 2 at 13:00. Players may enter only one of these divisions. Those who advance to the final round will compete in an offline championship event held at Bushiroad’s booth during Jump Festa 2026 on December 20 and 21.
The tournament format is a double-elimination best-of-three (BO3), allowing all characters to be used. Players interested should refer to the official release announcement below for details:

Bushiroad, Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Takaki Tanimura) is pleased to announce the opening of online qualification sign-ups for the first official domestic tournament of HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT, and that the final round will be held at Jump Festa 2026.

We are hosting the first official event for HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT: “NENPACT ARENA.” This tournament will be held in two stages: online qualifiers and an offline final.
Online Qualifiers
The competition is divided into Steam(R) and PlayStation(R)5 divisions, where participants will compete for top rankings within each category.
The Steam(R) division will take place on November 1 (Saturday) at 13:00, while the PlayStation(R)5 division will begin on November 2 (Sunday) at 13:00. Players may enter only one of these divisions.

Steam(R) Division: November 1 (Sat), 13:00 onwards
PlayStation(R)5 Division: November 2 (Sun), 13:00 onwards
[Tournament Rules]
Tournament Format: Double Elimination
Match Outcome: Best-of-Three (BO3)
Characters: All characters available for use
Battle Settings: Random stage, match duration of 180 seconds

- Matches started with settings different from the rules will be invalid.
- The offline final has different rules; please refer to the news below for details.
[Entry Requirements]
Players must reside in Japan and be able to communicate in Japanese.
Supported Platforms: Steam(R) / PlayStation(R)5
Age Restrictions: No age limit, but minors must obtain consent from a legal guardian (e.g., parent or guardian) prior to participation.
Additional Notes:
- Participants entering the Steam(R) division will not be allowed to participate in the PS5 division. Duplicate entries will result in disqualification from the PlayStation(R)5 division and confirmation of only Steam(R) participation.
- Participation requires a PlayStation Plus subscription and installation of the latest patch.
- Qualifiers advancing to the final round will compete at Jump Festa 2026 on-site. Attendance is limited to those who can attend in person.
※ Travel expenses are not covered, but participants will receive priority entry access.
Offline Final
The offline final will be held at Bushiroad’s booth during Jump Festa 2026 on December 20 (Saturday) and December 21 (Sunday). Prizes will be awarded to all finalists, with additional prizes for first-place, second-place, and third-place finishers.
