THQ Nordic Japan today (October 3, 2025) announced that it will release playable demos for “Tides of Tomorrow,” “REANIMAL,” and “SpongeBob: Titans of the Sea” on Steam starting October 14 as part of the upcoming “Steam Next Fest.”
“Tides of Tomorrow” is an asynchronous multiplayer adventure game developed by the team behind Road 96, scheduled for release on February 24, 2026. Set on a marine planet facing extinction, players must survive while adaptively responding to choices made by friends and streamers in real time.
The demo for this title is already available ahead of schedule, allowing players to explore one of the locations featured in the game’s first chapter.

Steam “Tides of Tomorrow”
“REANIMAL,” a new horror adventure from Tarsier Studios, known for the Little Nightmares series, is scheduled for release in 2026. The story begins with the emotional reunion of orphaned siblings and takes players through eerie locations such as abandoned factories and derelict railway tracks, where they will experience intense encounters with a creature known as the “Sniffer.”

“SpongeBob: Titans of the Sea,” scheduled for release on November 18, is an action-adventure game based on the popular animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. Set in Bikini Bottom, which has fallen into chaos due to a massive conflict between the ghostly Captain and King Neptune, players can experience SpongeBob and Patrick’s adventure ahead of time.
