Hall 10 at TGS 2025 hosts numerous national pavilions, but among them stands out Brazil Games, whose booth prominently features the national colors of sports—yellow, blue, and green. This organization, dedicated to fostering Brazil’s game industry, previously hosted gamescom latam in April this year in São Paulo (related article). At this year’s event, four studios are showcasing a total of six titles—each fully playable—including the open-world RPG “Zero Lilium Bloom,” previously featured by 4Gamer.

Brazil Games has been a regular presence at recent game events such as GDC 2025. However, according to Patricia Sato, who oversees export programs for the organization, past exhibitions primarily served as business booths aimed at connecting Brazilian developers with overseas investors. As such, this marks the first time Brazil Games is offering playable demos directly to general attendees abroad.

On the first day of coverage—September 25th, during Business Day—Ms. Sato expressed her hopes: “We want as many gamers as possible to try our games throughout the event.” In this article, we highlight three of the six titles on display.

Zero Lilium Bloom

Developed by Lightfarm Studios, “Zero Lilium Bloom” is an open-world action RPG that blends farming simulation elements. It was previously featured in a GDC 2024 special report (related article). Known for its vibrant, visually striking world—a hallmark of the studio’s origins as an animation house—players explore a fantasy realm where mutated flora and fauna have overrun civilization after the expansion of human society. At times, players will also be required to cultivate fields.

The current demo allows players to experience one of the game’s core mechanics: “Synergy.” Unlike traditional farming sims that use square grids, this title uses hexagonal (six-sided) tiles. Each tile can hold only a single seed, but depending on what is planted in adjacent six tiles, “synergy effects” trigger, altering production output.

Additionally, it was revealed during the event that Mad Mimic—a studio based in Brazil and developer of Mark of the Deep, released earlier this year—has contributed to development. Lightfarm Studios, confident in its game design and graphics, aims to elevate the final product by collaborating with Mad Mimic, which brings more extensive experience in game design.

Due to the joint development structure between two teams, there were actually more developers observing players than actual players at the “Zero Lilium Bloom” booth. Rogue Reigns

“Rogue Reigns,” developed by Venn Studios, is a roguelike deck-builder showing strong ambition despite being only a pre-alpha version with just one combat session. It already features Japanese localization in progress.

The game fuses the card-building mechanics of titles like Slay the Spire with a dark fantasy atmosphere reminiscent of Elden Ring and Darkest Dungeon. Set in a crumbling kingdom, it follows anthropomorphic animal magicians and paladins on their journeys through this post-apocalyptic world.

The game features a harsh system where characters cannot return once defeated, but surviving allies allow players to hire new heroes. Each character holds over 30 cards and can manage their hand using up to three action points—a classic card battle setup.

During the demo, enemies focused attacks on a backline mage, yet victory remained achievable through front-line offense. According to its Steam store page, the game aims for release in June 2026.

The Posthumous Investigation

“The Posthumous Investigation” is a classic detective adventure game scheduled for release on November 7 by Nuuvem, a publisher based in São Paulo. The game was developed by Mother Gaia Studios and draws inspiration from the novel The Posthumous Recollections of Bras Cubas by Machado de Assis—widely regarded as Brazil’s greatest literary figure.

Players take on the role of Bras Cubas, an industrialist who should have died but instead finds himself trapped in a time loop while investigating the mystery behind his own death. The setting is Rio de Janeiro at the dawn of the 20th century.

Gameplay involves exploring a side-scrolling map, gathering clues through investigating and surveilling suspects. Players must piece together connections leading to the person who caused their demise—by analyzing dialogue and observing behavior.

At TGS 2025, a Japanese-localized demo is on display. Additionally, a similar demo is currently available for download on Steam, so interested players are encouraged to try it out.

Other titles at the Nuuvem booth were also playable: Cosplay Club, a turn-based RPG released in April by Behold Studio, and Bugdex, a mobile monster-collection adventure developed by DKB Digital Designs. Additionally, Ghostless—a pixel-art survival game from Coffenauts—was showcased but not as a playable demo. Furthermore, since the Steam store page had not yet been published and the development team was absent, detailed information could not be obtained.
