Awesome Games Studio has announced its upcoming 2D action-adventure title “HELLREAPER” (available on PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S) and released a trailer.

Set in a world where Hell and Heaven are locked in fierce struggle, the protagonist is “Hellreaper,” born from the sacrifice of a high-ranking angel. Armed with various weapons and abilities, he journeys through Hell to uncover hidden truths.

As visible from the trailer and screenshots, one of the game’s standout features is its exquisitely detailed, beautiful yet terrifying 2D graphics.

At this time, specific details about gameplay mechanics remain limited. However, the trailer reveals movement patterns and sudden downward attacks reminiscent of “Dead Cells,” while the Steam store page includes a line stating: “Find ancient relics and evolve yourself further”—suggesting that the game may fall into the rogue-like action genre.
