On October 3, 2025, ASUS JAPAN, the Japanese subsidiary of ASUSTeK Computer (hereinafter “ASUS”), announced that it will launch the new wired mouse from its gamer-focused product brand, “Republic of Gamers,” the ROG Harpe Mini Core Gaming Mouse (hereinafter “Harpe Mini Core”), in Japan on October 10. The standout feature is its lightweight design, with a claimed body weight of approximately 52 grams.
The suggested retail price including tax is 8,980 yen.

The Harpe Mini Core is a compact mouse featuring a left-side button. It inherits the body design from the previously released wireless mouse, the ROG Harpe Ace Mini, and is shaped for optimal grip in both claw and fingertip hold styles.
It uses ASUS’s proprietary “ROG Micro Switch II” on its left and right main buttons, offering a satisfying click feel and high durability capable of withstanding up to 100 million clicks. Additionally, the switches are replaceable and compatible with 3-pin mechanical switch designs.
While the sensor name has not been disclosed, it features tracking speed of 300 IPS and maximum acceleration of 35G—specifications that are somewhat modest by current standards for gaming mice.
